SME Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking Division

Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) is a credit institution 100%-owned by the Bulgarian state. Established in 1999 with main focus to support small and medium-sized enterprises, BDB is among the top four Bulgarian banks in terms of credit rating, rated “BBB” with a stable outlook by Fitch Ratings. It is the only Bulgarian bank that in addition to direct financing, provides resources through other credit institutions.

Currently we are looking for a professional who value communication and can foment cooperation between various parties to join our Corporate Banking team as SME Relationship Manager.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Targets proactively and develops sustainable professional relationships with new corporate clients;
  • Works purposefully to generate new business and expand the portfolio;
  • Develops and executes a strategy for prospecting and securing new business opportunities;
  • Consults and negotiates specific conditions for transactions with corporate clients, related to the provision of bank financing;
  • Fosters beneficial relationships with business partners, potential clients, and business contracts in order to attract new business and enhancing organizational reputation;
  • Responsible for the implementation of quantitative and qualitative commercial goals;
  • Manages and develops client portfolio;
  • Evaluates, determines, and realizes business growth goals;
  • Actively participates in the process of creation and development of new products and services for corporate clients.

Your qualification:

  • University degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration;
  • At least 2 years of experience in working with corporate / SME clients or product development preferably in financial institutions environment;
  • Hands-on, proactive, takes initiative in problems solving and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Sales oriented with strong analytical and project management skills;
  • Very strong communication skills;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets and presentation processing software;
  • Clean driving license.
