The InvestEU fund, part of the InvestEU program, consists in the provision of an EU budget guarantee to support the financial products prepared and delivered by the implementing partners. Targeted at priority projects with added value, it promotes a coherent approach to financing EU policy objectives.  

The aim of its creation is to bring alltogether the multitude of financial instruments that currently support EU investments into a common fund with a strong financial capacity and a unified set of integrated requirements and implementation rules to be applied throughout the financial cycle to facilitate the final beneficiaries and financial intermediaries.

Due to its centralised nature, InvestEU is able to deliver EU policy objectives and synergies in a simplified and flexible manner.
