Valentin Mihov

Valentin Mihov holds Master’s Degree in International Economic Relations from MGIMO and MBA from INSEAD. He has considerable experience in advising and managing banks. From 1999 to 2008 he was a consultant and associate principal at McKinsey & Company and managed projects in the largest banks in Bulgaria, Germany and Russia. Between 2008 and 2017, he held senior management positions at Commerzbank, Sberbank Russia, and Sberbank Europe AG as well as Supervisory Board positions in their subsidiary banks in a number of Eastern European countries. Since 2018, he has returned to advising banks and companies both as independent consultant and member of Boards of Directors.
