The Bulgarian Development Bank has started the process of selecting financial intermediaries aiming the conclusion of agreements for offering two guarantee products under the InvestEU program. The first one is for the support of small and medium-sized businesses and the other one is for building sustainable infrastructure:
SME Guarantee Product consisting of:
Loss Cap Guarantee Sub-product and
Non-Loss Cap Guarantee Sub-product.
Sustainable Investments Guarantee Product, consisting of:
Loss Cap Guarantee Sub-product "Waste, Wastewater and Clean Air Management";
Loss Cap Guarantee Sub-product "Multimodal Transport";
Loss Cap Guarantee Sub-product "Water Sector".

As of 23.12.2024 the Bulgarian Development Bank has completed the first stage of the evaluation process for the selection of financial intermediaries under the InvestEU program.
The selection procedure continues with the next stage of the evaluation for the sub-products "Guarantee with Loss Ceiling" and "Guarantee without Loss Ceiling" under the SME Guarantee Product, as well as for the sub-products "Guarantee with Loss Ceiling "Waste, Wastewater and Clean Air Management" and "Guarantee with Loss Ceiling "Multimodal Transport" under the Guarantee Product "Sustainable Investments".
