An Advisory Council to BDB is being established with the participation of the nationally representative employers' organizations
The new body will provide a direct connection between the bank and the business, optimize the process for developing new financial products and support public control over BDB's activities
In accordance with the publicly announced intentions, BDB’s Supervisory Board invited the nationally representative employers' organizations to establish an Advisory Council to the bank's Supervisory Board.
It will provide a working information channel between BDB and the business, which will optimize the development of new financial instruments of the bank’s group and effectively inform the members of the organizations about the current programs and products.
The Advisory Council shall support public control over the bank's activities, given the nature of the funds with which it operates and the specifics of its goals and objectives as outlined in the BDB Act.
The Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA), the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA), the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (KRIB) and the Union for Private Economic Enterprise (UPEE) confirmed their participation in the Council.
