Mariana Petkova is BDB’s new Chairperson of the Management Board

Bulgarian Development Bank has a new Chairperson of the Management Board and Executive Director.

Mariana Petkova has over 28 years of international experience in banking.

From 2006 to 2021 she led ProCredit Bank as Executive Director and Member of the Management Board in Bulgaria, as well as Deputy CEO and CEO of ProCredit Bank in Romania. Her managerial skills for optimizing the bank’s costs and building a stable and high-quality SME customer base are greatly valued.

BDB’s current Executive Directors Vladimir Gueorguiev and Jivko Todorov will take on new professional endeavours outside the bank.
