The Executive Director of BDB, Ivan Cerovski, met with representatives of the Bank of China
The possibilities for future interaction between the two institutions were discussed
The Executive Director of the Bulgarian Development Bank, Ivan Cerovski, participated in a working meeting with Lixin Guo – General Manager of the Bank of China (CEE), Li Zhang – Head of the Corporate Banking Department at the bank, and Kon Linyu – Counselor for Economic Affairs at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Bulgaria.
The meeting was held at the InvestBulgaria Agency with the participation of the acting Executive Director of the Agency, Hristo Etropolski, the deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth, Martin Gikov, and the Head of the Negotiations and International Cooperation Department at BDB, Mihail Valchanov.
The representatives of BDB introduced the guests from the Bank of China to the financial instruments that the bank provides to support Bulgarian small and medium-sized businesses and the opportunities to access financial resources for companies with a higher risk profile.
The valuable role of the state bank, requiring smaller collateral and participation from its customers, was also emphasized. The two institutions discussed BDB's long-standing relationship with a number of Chinese financial institutions and explored the potential for establishing future cooperation between the Bank of China and BDB.
