Tsanko Arabadzhiev: Barin Sports is an example of successful cooperation between the state and business

"I am proud of the success of Barin Sports because it is an example of the good symbiosis between the state and business. In our very first meetings in 2022, the sports technology team won us over, we invested BGN 4 million and the results were not delayed." This was stated by the Executive Director of the Bulgarian Development Bank Tsanko Arabadzhiev in the programme "The Day Begins" on Bulgarian National Television.
He commented on the attraction of English football legend Michael Owen as an investor and ambassador of the Bulgarian start-up, in which the BDB Equity Investment Fund has a 20% stake.
The BDB CEO stressed that the BDB Group financial institution has a full range of tools, both in the area of private equity investing and to support the growth of more mature companies.
According to Barin Sports CEO Vladimir Grozdanov, the company has been able to develop and implement world-class hardware and in doing so has attracted both BDB and Ballon d'Or winner Michael Owen.
Barin Sports' innovative system uses artificial intelligence technology to provide accurate, real-time data on the performance of professional athletes, allowing for comprehensive analysis and customized training programs.
