In 2019, the Bulgarian Development Bank again helped in organizing the International Children's Festival in Bosilegrad.

In recent years, this is the most popular cultural event for the town and the region and a festivity for the Bulgarian diaspora there.

It is a gathering of hundreds of children living in different countries, in most of which Bulgarian communities exist. Traditionally, children from the Bulgarian diasporas in Serbia, Macedonia, Ukraine, Moldova and others take part in the festival, and the goal is to maintain contacts between the Bulgarian communities and preserve the native traditions and customs.
