As of 31 December 2020, Postbank is the second partner bank of BDB to begin accepting applications under the new conditions of the program for interest-free loans to natural persons. The bank will now grant loans of up to BGN 6,900 instead of the previous limit, BGN 4,500.

The adopted changes also provide an opportunity for lending to persons who have been on unpaid leave due to the pandemic and are currently unemployed during the pandemic restrictions period.

The other commercial banks participating in the program are expected to start operating under the new conditions in the following weeks.
