The Bulgarian Development Bank has recognized the "Bulgarian Christmas" as part of its corporate social responsibility and has repeatedly supported the initiative.

In 2015, BDB was once again among the donors of the campaign aimed at supporting children in critical health condition, carried out under the motto "Helping children in intensive care." The organizers aimed to provide the resuscitation and intensive care wards at university hospitals in the country with equipment for diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of the vital parameters of the child body in order to reduce the incidence of child deaths.

The "Bulgarian Christmas" is held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria and aims to encourage donations, help solve major societal problems affecting the health of children and support the treatment of children. The children whose treatment is supported by the "Bulgarian Christmas" are selected jointly by the Expert Council of the "Bulgarian Christmas" and the co-organizers of the charity initiative.

So far, the 13th edition of the campaign "Bulgarian Christmas" of 2015 – 2016 has collected approximately 2.4 million BGN.
