Angel Naydenov has over 30 years of professional experience in the banking and financial sector. His expertise spans corporate banking, lending to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), branch network management, financial control and accounting.
He has held a number of senior management positions at banking institutions. At Allianz Bank Bulgaria, he served as Deputy Director and Manager of the Europa Business Centre, as well as Regional Manager of the Sofia – Southwestern Region Regional Directorate. In this role, he oversaw eight business centres in Sofia, with responsibility for achieving business targets and developing the SME loan portfolio. He also served as Manager of the bank's Fridtjof Nansen Business Centre.
A significant part of his professional career was spent at Piraeus Bank Bulgaria, where he held various management positions. As Regional Manager, he was responsible for the branch network in Sofia and Southwestern Bulgaria, business planning and performance, as well as approving SME loans within his delegated authority.
He also served as Director of the Millennium Central Branch of CIBANK/UBB.
He holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Control from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE). He has completed specialised management training through the Piraeus Bank Group Management eAcademy / Harvard Business Publishing.
