The Bulgarian Development Bank supports the campaign "Wonders of Bulgaria". The event is held annually at the initiative of the "Standard" newspaper and aims to popularize the Bulgarian cultural and historic heritage and promote the domestic tourism within the country.

In 2015, the Thracian heritage gathered the largest amount of votes and prizes in the "Wonders of Bulgaria". Winner of the "Discovery" category was the tomb of the Odrysian king Seuthes III, followed by the ancient Baths "Aquae Khalid" and the grave of Despot Slav in Melnik. The "Saint Anastasia" island was voted wonder number 1 among the attractions, ahead of "Villa Armira" and the Vidin fortress "Baba Vida".
