Support for vulnerable social groups is part of the Bulgarian Development Bank's long-term commitment to sustainable development of society. One example of such support is the partnership with the social enterprise garden "Inspiration" in Bozhurishte. This is a place where young people with disabilities have the opportunity not only to spend time in a protected environment, but also to work, develop, and build confidence in themselves.

Working in nature has a strong positive effect on the participants. It helps them to develop work habits, work in a team, make friends, and achieve small but significant successes every day. Behind every product is not just labor, but a process of building independence and confidence.
The social enterprise team includes occupational therapists, a psychologist, and a medical professional who support the young people during the various activities in the garden and in their personal development.
The donation from BDB will contribute to the equipment of a professional kitchen, through which the company will expand its activities. This will allow for an increase in production and the completion of the entire production cycle - from the cultivation of raw materials to the creation of end products.
The Inspiration Garden was created on the grounds of a school facility that is currently being renovated. Once the renovation is complete, primary school students will be taught there. This creates an opportunity for natural interaction between different groups in society and is an example of an innovative sustainable model of social integration.
The place is a real center of attraction. The many events, art workshops, and festivals held there are very popular. The Inspiration Garden team is also featured in the documentary film "The Garden of Good," broadcast on BNT.
