BDB continues to work in support of businesses affected by the Covid-19 crisis
BDB continues to provide liquidity and security to companies affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In June, the businesses received guarantees for funding provided worth BGN 24,075,560 under 151 contracts. In July, the partner banks in the anti-crisis program received BDB’s confirmation for the guaranteeing of 94 loans worth over BGN 23 million. Funding applications can be submitted at the offices of the eight partner banks: BACB, Investbank, Postbank, UniCredit Bulbank, DSK Bank, Fibank, Allianz Bank and UBB. Since the start of the program in 2020, loans of over BGN 320.3 million have been granted.
Shorter loan approval time under BDB’s renewed guarantee program in support of businesses
The Bulgarian Development Bank will offer shorter loan approval time and reduced collateral requirements under its guarantee program in support of businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The changes in the anti-crisis measure were approved by a decision of the Council of Ministers and will enter into force after a positive opinion from the European Commission.

UniCredit Bulbank and UBB are among BDB’s partners in the interest-free loan program for individuals, which are already accepting applications under the renewed terms.
Postbank begins acceptance under the new conditions of the program for natural persons
As of 31 December 2020, Postbank is the second partner bank of BDB to begin accepting applications under the new conditions of the program for interest-free loans to natural persons.
DSK Bank is the first commercial bank to begin acceptance under the new conditions of the program for natural persons
DSK Bank is the first bank that has been accepting applications under the new conditions of the program for interest-free loans to natural persons since 21 December 2020.
