The Management of BDB Discussed Opportunities for Cooperation with the Minister of Investment of the Republic of Uzbekistan
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) Delyana Ivanova and Executive Director and Chairman of the Management Board of the financial institution Ivaylo Moskovski held a meeting with the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov in the framework of his official visit to Bulgaria.
During the meeting they discussed the opportunities for building a long-term partnership between the two countries and implementing joint projects in sectors such as energy, logistics, transport, road infrastructure, food industry and others. Special emphasis in the discussion was placed on support for small and medium enterprises - a key priority in the activities of BDB. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Delyana Ivanova, pointed out that the bank has developed a new export financing product in line with the updated strategy of the financial institution. It targets Bulgarian producers exporting goods and services to international markets.
On his behalf, Minister Kudratov underlined Uzbekistan's commitment to attract foreign direct investment and expressed hope for building a stable and fruitful partnership with BDB.
