Wooden playgrounds – mission possible
At the heart of each facility is a carefully selected raw material - acacia wood (Robinia), known in our country as salkum . In terms of hardness and strength, it surpasses oak and comes close to exotic species such as mahogany and teak. That is why it is preferred throughout Europe in the construction of outdoor facilities.
With over a decade of experience working with this specific material, Zafirov's team has mastered the craft. The processing requires manual labor and precision, but the result is exceptional strength unattainable with industrial materials.
The production of children's equipment goes through digital modeling, complying with strict safety requirements.
The process begins with the creation of an idea concept, design and planning, leading to implementation and testing.
From individual projects to our own line
In the beginning, Toros Play worked mainly on requests from clients - municipalities, institutions and private investors. Today, the company already has its own models and a catalog of over 100 products - from themed ships and castles to combined systems, rope parks and park furniture.
It also offers "craft" solutions - handmade facilities according to an individual project.
Among its main clients are municipalities, schools, kindergartens, as well as private investors of residential complexes and commercial spaces.
Today, the company has over 35 projects behind it, including in Israel, Latvia, Portugal and Romania. In Bulgaria, it has built numerous attractions, mainly in Burgas and Varna, including the Black Sea Flagship in Burgas - an impressive ship with rope bridges and thematic details, "Oasis Park" - one of the tallest wooden structures in Bulgaria, and "Chengene Skele Aquatica" - a large-scale thematic area of over 1500 sq.m. There are already functioning attractions in the capital, such as "Aqua Adventure Playground" .
Adrenaline built with imagination
Among the latest projects of Toros Play is "Adrenaline Park Burgas" in "Ezero" park, which is due to open at the beginning of the summer season. The project envisages the construction of a large-scale multifunctional facility with four levels, dozens of obstacles of varying difficulty, slides, a lift, a bungee jump, a climbing wall and rope courses. The concept combines active experiences, sports and recreation in a green urban environment, relying on innovative safety systems and sustainable solutions such as solar lighting, UV-resistant materials and specialized flooring.
