BDB and UNWE will conduct joint research in finance and corporate governance

The Bulgarian Development Bank and the University of National and World Economy will conduct joint research in finance and corporate governance.

This has become possible after the execution of a three-year memorandum of cooperation between the two institutions.

Said memorandum determines arrangements for the organization of initiatives in banking, SME financing, share acquisition, statistical data processing and more.

The cooperation between the two institutions aims to strengthen the dialogue between businesses and university circles. Thus, BDB will strengthen its social commitment continuing to provide better chances for career development and professional success of students from UNWE.

"This partnership gives us the opportunity to use the academic achievements and scientific potential of the university. It can also encourage joint application for various projects," said Nikolay Dimitrov, Executive Office of BDB, who signed the memorandum along with the UNWE President, Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov, PhD.

On-site visits to the BDB Group companies, meetings with experts, practical trainings and pre-graduation internships will be organized.

Joint scientific events, trainings and competitions are also planned to be organized.
