02.07.2018 BDB is actively involved in the Summit of Heads of Government of China and CEE

Bulgarian Development Bank will be an active participant and a host of this year’s Seventh Annual Meeting of the Heads of State and Heads of Government of the Central and Eastern European countries and China under the 16 + 1 framework. BDB will welcome the directors and top officials of 14-member banks of China-CEEC Interbank Association on July 3rd and 5th. At the meetings in the National Palace of Culture will be signed a Cooperation Action Agenda for the period 2018-2020 and a cooperation agreement on building up the capacities and experience exchange. These are the first official documents of the Association since its establishment in Budapest in November last year. The activities of China-CEEC Interbank Association will be presented by the CEO of Bulgarian Development Bank Stoyan Mavrodiev during this large-scale business forum, which will be held in the National Palace of Culture on July 7th.
There are 14 development and commercial banks in China-CEEC Interbank Association, including BDB, China Development Bank, banks from Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Hungary, Romania and Serbia.
These co-operations will allow BDB to extend its instruments by participating in the financing of public and public-private infrastructure projects.
