Support for Innovative and Social Enterprises
The Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) has launched a program aimed at innovative companies and social enterprises. Funding is provided by the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), for which the BDB has received a state guarantee.
The loans are designed to support initiatives that contribute to job creation, including everything from developing new technologies to improving social inclusion and environmental protection. Promoting innovation as a driver for sustainable growth and increasing the competitiveness of the economy remains among the priorities of BDB's business strategy.
Who is the program for?
Innovative micro, small and medium-sized companies or social enterprises that:
✔ Create and sustain jobs
✔ Have positive equity
✔ Have no arrears to credit institutions or the NRA
✔ Do not operate in sectors excluded from the BRSE
Working capital credit
✔ Minimum total term - one and a half years
✔ Maximum total term - 4 years
✔ Maximum total term - 4 years
Investment credit
✔ Total term: minimum is 5 years and maximum is 10 years
✔ Drawdown period: according to the investment, but not more than 2 years
✔ Grace period: tailored to the investment, but not more than 2 years
