Expert/Chief Expert, Regulatory Reporting

We are currently seeking an experienced and accomplished professional for the position of Expert/Chief Expert Regulatory Reporting.

Your key responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze, and submit regulatory reports to the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB), the European Central Bank (ECB), and other supervisory authorities in compliance with applicable regulations;
• Perform data checks and ensure quality control over the accuracy and completeness of reports;
• Participate in the implementation of new regulatory requirements and improvements to reporting models;
• Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure necessary information is provided and compliance is maintained;
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and analyze their impact on reporting processes;
• Support the preparation of internal reports and analyses for management.

Your qualifications and skills:

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial/regulatory reporting, audit, or control;
• Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements of national and EU authorities;
• Ability to work with large data sets and strong analytical thinking;
• Excellent computer skills – Excel (including formulas, Pivot tables, macros); knowledge of BI/SQL/ERP systems is an advantage;
• Good command of English – both written and spoken.
