BDB is consulting market on guarantee products under InvestEU
Meetings with potential partners for the offering of EU guarantee funding will take place until 30 July
As a result of the successful negotiations with the European Commission in which the Bulgarian Development Bank was selected as an implementing partner of the InvestEU programme, the Bank is starting market consultations for the offering of two EU guarantee financial products. These are aimed at small and medium-sized businesses, and at building sustainable infrastructure.
The consultations are in preparation for the launch of an open and transparent procedure for the selection of financial intermediaries with which BDB will enter into operational agreements for the offering of the guarantee products.
To finalize the selection documents, the Bank will consult with all stakeholders.
To support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, a guarantee product will be offered with two distinct sub-products: capped and uncapped guarantees.
The aim is to combine the funding of general measures to develop SME competitiveness with support for priority policies such as green transition, innovation, digitisation, cultural and creative industries.
The second InvestEU product will support the creation of sustainable infrastructure and will be offered in three sub-products:
-loss capped guarantee in the areas of waste, wastewater and clean air;
- loss capped guarantee in the intermodal transport sector;
-loss capped guarantee in the water sector.
Meetings with those wishing to participate in the consultations will be held until 30 July at the BDB’s premises in Sofia at 1 Dyakon Ignatiy Str. or online.
