14.11.2022 Bulgarian Development Bank has a new composition of its Supervisory Board
A priority task for the new team is the development and implementation of legal, supervisory, control and organizational mechanisms
The Supervisory Board (SB) of the Bulgarian Development Bank has increased from three to five members. With today’s entry in the Commercial Register, Dr. Rosen Karadimov officially assumes the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Delyana Ivanova – Deputy Chairman. The current members Valentin Mihov, Vassil Shtonov and Stamen Yanev will remain part of the SB.
A priority task for the new team is the development and implementation of legal, supervisory, control and organizational mechanisms to ensure that the bank will follow only policies that achieve its goals set out in Art. 2, item 1 to 5 of the BDB Law.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosen Karadimov is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” since 1991. Chairman of the Board of the “Institute for New Economic Progress”. He was a member of the parliament in the VII Grand National Assembly, participated in the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria in 1991. As a member of the parliament in the 36th National Assembly, he participated in the adoption of the BNB Law (1991), the Banks and Credit Act (1992), the Commercial Act (1991). Rosen Karadimov was a legal advisor and legal representative of a number of credit institutions, including BDB.
Delyana Ivanova is a former Deputy Minister of the Regional Development and Public Works in the period 2021-2022. Previously she was a member of the parliament in the 45th and 46th National Assembly and a member of the Committee on Budget and Finance. Her professional expertise is in banking and finance.
