NOTICE of upcoming changes to the General Terms and Conditions for provision of payment services to legal entities and sole traders

Dear customers,

We would like to inform you that as from October 21, 2023, Bulgarian Development Bank EAD will apply new General Terms and Conditions for provision of payment services and electronic banking to legal entities and sole traders.

The new General Terms And Conditions unite in one document the current General Terms and Conditions for provision of payment services to legal entities and sole traders and the General Terms and Conditions for electronic banking of Bulgarian Development Bank EAD, with no substantive changes related to the opening of payment accounts and the provision of payment services to the customers of Bulgarian Development Bank EAD which are legal entities and sole traders.

The new General Terms and Conditions (framework agreement) can be found on the website of Bulgarian Development Bank EAD – www.bbr.bg, section "Public Information", subsection "General Terms and Conditions and Rates".

With the provision of this notice, Bulgarian Development Bank EAD fulfils its obligation, as a provider of payment services pursuant to the Payment Services and Payment Systems Act, to inform its customers (users of payment services) with a 14-day notice of upcoming changes in the terms and conditions of the framework agreement concluded between them. The Bank hereby informs the users of payment services that it considers them to have accepted the changes in the terms and conditions of the framework agreement, unless they notify the Bank that they do not accept these changes before the date on which the changes enter into force. In case the users of payment services do not accept the changes, the Bank notifies them that they have the right to immediately terminate the framework agreement and its accompanying agreements before the date on which the changes are proposed to enter into force, without being liable for costs and compensation.
