Improving transport infrastructure is vital for the business. The quality construction and maintenance of the road network in Bulgaria is a prerequisite for the true freedom of movement of goods and people within the European Union.

In view of its mission to support the economic development of Bulgaria, BDB supports the construction of large-scale infrastructure projects such as the Struma Motorway.

With the financial support of the Bank, highways, new and rehabilitated roads from the national road network are being built.
