Bulgarian revolution on the world cosmetics stage

Inspiration drawn from the Bulgarian natural resources led to the creation and development of arbū - the first Bulgarian company positioned in the high-end skin care sector and recognized by Vogue and the Financial Times.

"The next big thing in cosmetics for Eastern Europe" is what Vogue says about it, and the main idea was born from the dream to prove that a brand with Bulgarian origins can measure up to the biggest names in the industry.

"I'm not giving up, no matter how hard it is, because I believe there is huge potential here. Our products are our business card to the world - we inserted passion, knowledge and professionalism into them," says Malinova.

Arbū Cosmetics introduces the Bulgarian rose to science. It offers premium organic cosmetics with Rosa Damascena - a symbol of purity and quality. The interesting combination of pure ingredients and advanced technology allows the products to be both effective and environmentally friendly.

The portfolio contains more than 80 products and 10 spa treatments, and this year a line for teenagers will be created. The pride of the brand is the patented Rose Complex™, an innovative formula of three types of rose oils developed in its own certified laboratory.

The company is against animal cruelty and aims to be as eco-friendly as possible, from the ingredients it uses to the packaging made of 100% recyclable black-violet glass that protects the products.

With an organic content between 83% and 99% and certification by Ecocert, the products are gaining the trust of demanding customers and are already featured in luxury spas.

The brand's international partnerships are spreading rapidly, from Amazon Europe (as part of the Premium Beauty selection) to the successful collaboration with Beautysaur Organics in Hong Kong. A new expansion into Asia is in the pipeline, supported by Laurent Gaultier, former President for Asia of global giant Clarins, to the company's Advisory Board, and in the Middle East it has already finalised a deal with a hotel chain that has a plan to open 130 spas with exclusive brand products by 2028.

Behind this success, of course, is strong support from Bulgarians. The Bulgarian Development Bank has been a partner of arbū since 2021, providing financing to buy raw materials, expand production and enter new markets.

In 2025, the company is making efforts to focus on e-commerce and direct sales through its website.

With a bold vision, big dreams and a lot of effort, arbū has managed to establish itself as a leading global brand.
