As of the early 2020 the BDB has renewed its membership in the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFB). The Chamber was established in 2004 and is a non-profit organization uniting 240 French, Bulgarian and international companies. It is a contact partner, a consultant and a mediator in the economic relations between Bulgaria and France. France is among the leading foreign trade partners of Bulgaria, with the largest share of French investment being in the industry, followed by finance, trade, communications, construction and the banking sector.

BDB collaborates with the CCIFB in the promotion and implementation of projects between Bulgarian and foreign companies in priority sectors, such as small and medium-sized business, infrastructure, large projects of national importance, etc. One of the key priorities of the Bank is the management of a programme for financing of exports with the purpose of promotion of Bulgarian foreign trade.
