03.05.2022 BDB to hold meetings with the business in May
The new products of the bank will be presented in Kyustendil, Haskovo, Balchik, Sliven and Yambol
Since the beginning of the year, the Bulgarian Development Bank has launched five programs to help small and medium-sized businesses. The first of them was aimed at the tourism industry and provides funding for the upcoming season for hotel and restaurant proprietors with a grace period of 18 months.
Applicants can also benefit from two more products. The first, Energy Support, will help companies reschedule their electricity costs for four consecutive months of their choice in 2022 due to the unexpected rise in electricity prices. Companies can apply for funding for future payments and unpaid invoices.
The second product is for construction of photovoltaic power stations with a capacity of up to 1MW/p for business needs.
Through the latest working capital program, BDB offers small and medium-sized enterprises the opportunity to overcome the negative effects of rising prices of basic goods and services. The program envisages working capital loans of up to BGN 200,000 for the purchase of raw materials at current prices, thus limiting their higher costs in the future.
These and other products by BDB will be presented at meetings with the business across the country in May. The first ones are on May 10 in Kyustendil at the Strimon Hotel at 11 a.m., and in Haskovo on May 12 in the town hall at 2 p.m.
A meeting will take place on May 20 in Botevgrad and on May 26 and 27 - in Yambol and Sliven, in the respective town halls.
